SEARSMA Board of Directors
SEARSMA was founded by an interim, volunteer Board of Directors while it awaits the outcome of the RSDA assessment vote. SEARSMA’s current Board of Directors is comprised of the following individuals:
President - Jeff Farvour (FV Apollo), Sitka
Vice President - Ben Campen (FV Mindalina), Sitka
Secretary & Treasurer - Thatcher Brouwer (FV Deep Sea), Juneau
SEARSMA Governance
SEARSMA is a nonprofit corporation and is the Regional Seafood Development Association (RSDA) for the Southeast Alaska region (including Yakutat). As such, SEARSMA is bound by nonprofit laws and has structured its Articles of Incorporation to reflect the goals of Alaska’s RSDA program. If an affirmative vote is realized, SEARSMA governance documents will be updated by a new Board of Directors elected by S15B permit owners.
